The function of check valve in pump water supply system is to prevent the impact of high pressure water backflow on pump impeller. Due to some reason in the operation of the system, when the pump suddenly stops running, the pressure in the pump disappears, and the high-pressure water connected with the pump outlet will reverse flow back to the pump. When the pump outlet is equipped with a check valve, it will immediately close to prevent high-pressure water from flowing back to the pump.
